Equipment selection guide

Prepare the selection brief

Define the load

Provide maximum and minimum flow, water chemistry, treatment objective and peak operating load.

Confirm the interfaces

Agree piping or service connections, electrical supply, control interfaces, installation access and the routine cleaning method.

Agree the scope

Specify the included equipment, optional configurations, commissioning tasks, acceptance conditions and documentation required.

Operating principle

How it works

An electrical discharge converts part of the oxygen in a feed-gas stream to ozone. Contact treatment requires a defined dose and contact time, followed by residual control before culture-water return.

Technical approach

Key considerations

  • Air-fed and oxygen-fed configurations are described.
  • Modular discharge elements support maintenance access.
  • Control integration and ozone monitoring are configurable.

Recirculating Aquaculture Equipment

Equipment selection guide

Define water demand, target treatment, contact arrangement, gas handling, residual removal, monitoring and discharge. The generator cannot be specified independently of biological-filter and culture-water protection.

Questions & answers

Can ozone be introduced anywhere in the RAS circuit?

No. The training warns that residual ozone can damage the biological filter. Contact, residual removal and the return-water route require a complete process design.

Is the generator supplied with online monitoring?

The company brochure describes online ozone monitoring as an optional configuration. Confirm it in the equipment scope.
